In the News: NH Journal  New Hampshire and Massachusetts are each asking the U.S. Supreme Court to rule in their favor regarding how New Hampshire residents are taxed on the wages they earn working remotely from home for their Massachusetts-based employers.

This case could have widespread implications for many other states, including a direct benefit for the states of New Jersey and Connecticut who, if the court rules in favor of New Hampshire, would not be required to offset taxes paid by their home-based workers with taxes levied by New York State due to their employers’ offices being domiciled in New York.
